you can play through all of GW with you and your heros running on empty skillbars. GW is not a hard game to play.
the point is, the developers intend GW as a multiplayer game, so the 3 hero limit will stay. giving us access to 7 heros at once, and they might as well make the pve content singleplayer.
lastly, it's not like henchmen are really THAT bad. they are at least better than the average player in most regards.

I agree that the 3 hero limit is there because it's a multiplayer game, not single.
Also, henchmen are much better than other ppl sometimes. (they don't talk)

Actually, I wold like to add more heroes. I love playing with my guildies, but I have to go afk often (I'm a mom...goes with the turf) and that annoys the hell outta pugs, so it's hero/hench or guildies who are my friends and understand. I'd love to skip the stupid henchies and use my heroes......plus lol I want a misfit team (Vekk, Zhed, dwarf monk, etc with me and Gwen as the only humans if I can....muwahahaha)

Personally, if I wanted to play alone in a game, I would not be playing a multi-player game.
However, Anet opened this shitstorm when they added heroes to the game, and with the ten new ones in GWEN, they might as well add hero slots for PvE. People who want to be social will still join guilds and go for pugs. Besides, there is nothing in the game as satisfying to me as a good pug. Like rolling a natural 20.

Thought there was an incentive to group with people? Less loot when you're using henchmen/heroes or something? Haven't done PvE in ages though so that may no longer be (or never was) true. Would think more loot would be an incentive to PUG, but if loot isn't enough, just shows how crappy PUGs are.
Personally would like 7 heroes or pseudo-hero henchmen at the very least. Like Mhenlo with no secondary prof, but a fully customizable monk bar/attributes or something.

i honestly dont care if anet wants people to play together. its not what i want and i paid for it to play it how i want. anet is acting like bnet in that regard. players are good for chat and trade. but not to do missions with. questing is ok. i play alone, the only use for henchies is to soak damage for you and the heroes. henchies are not as good as average players. henchmen are useless. you have to run a support build for henchies to really shine and that takes away from the fun of using what skills i like.
guildwars should allow for a full party of heroes, i dont care if its not part of anets master plan to Force players into groups with other players. if i (the player) would rather use 7 heroes i should be able to. but thats why new games come out and gw is free to play. they pump out new installments without correcting their current content. i am a GW fan but not an Anet fan.
Keep PvP under the iron fist of anets rules, but let the pve players have what they want. with all the flaws seemingly unfixable in gw1, i dont think anet should be shoving gw2 out for a few more years. gw isnt even a cash cow. so i dont know what anets issues are. if they want to play with players no one is stopping them, but they stop us from playing how we want.
Best not to dwell on it.

why?
1. people who want to play with pug/friends WILL play with pug/friends
2. people who dont want to play with real other people WILL play with 7 heroes
3. people who dont want to play with real other people are currently playing with 3 heroes and 4 npc.
changing to 7 heroes would not result in a change of playing behavior.

These are player updated, so some people may not have noticed her using it. Bring Herta (and only Herta) into an explorable and watch her for a few minutes. If she casts something, it'll definately be Earth Attunement IF she has it.
I believe the henchmen skillset documentation is mostly complete, but the wikis may be missing a skill or two from each. Resurrection Signet should be on every non-monk henchman bar, but unless it's verified, it can't be put on the wiki.

1) Turn on hard mode and go get your legendary vanquisher with empty skillbars
2) So what if GW is a multiplayer game or how the developers intend their game to be played? The players want to be able to play the game on their own with 7 heroes for the hundreds of reasons I cant be farkin bothered to type again and again for all the blind people to ignore (yes everyone working at anet must be blind). Making the PVE part of the game single player only with an optional chat box for your guild and alliance only will make GW 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000 times better then it currently is.
3) Henchmen dont play the game the way I want to play the game. I want to play the game the way I enjoy, and I cant enjoy it with henchmen using healing breeze and charge. The henchmen in prophecies and factions are terrible beyond terrible, the henchmen in Nightfall are ok, the henchmen in Gwen are fine, but they could be so much better.
I want better (i.e. customisable) henchmen / 7 heroes so I can use the skills I want to use and not be forced to play the game Anet choose to or pugs choose to force me to play in a way which I hate and dont enjoy.
Anet need to realise that the multiplayer aspect of PVE in guildwars is dead. It was dead a long time ago, it still is dead, and it always will be dead. If you want multiplayer, feel free to PVP in either one of GVG, HA, TA, AB. Leave those of us that want to enjoy the PVE aspect of the game solo without having to suffer from stupid players.

"Skillful" turned out to be rather generous, I think. We were promised the ability to play solo from the very start, it's why a lot of us bought the game to begin with (I certainly know it's why I did). We should not be punished for wanting to play the game in a way that Anet themselves advertised as legitimate.
You're welcome to PUG to your hearts content, the very nature of the game (and the reason I love instancing) is that you can play your way and I can play my way and it doesn't matter. But please, spare me the usual "it's supposed to be MP only" and "lolz its so easy I can beat it with empty skill barz" crap.

No, the game is easy because the other 7 people in your team are doing the killing for you.
They hate heroes because when they try to use a full hero and hench team, they fail misserably and get party wiped by a Moa bird.
Turn on hard mode and get legendary Guardian and Vanquisher. Go on, I dare ya. I dont have them yet, and unfortunatly never will be able to without 7 heroes. And spare me the usual 'Go find a better guild' crap, because there arent any guilds better then the one I'm in.

Because I only play online multiplayer for PvP, all online games I play are PvP (CS, starcraft, Warcraft 3, UT, etc) and GW of course is no exception. For PvE, I treat it as single player just like all other RPGs I have played.
7 heroes plz.

Grow one friend in your basement, and buy him guildwars. I'm sure you all can find atleast 1 friend or guildie to quest/mission with. 6 heros+2 real people=any build your little brains desire.
